Carr’s Welding have been repairing blow moulds in aluminium and stainless steel for over 10 years. Sometimes impact damage on a neck split or a worn knifing edge, but usually with the laser to restore or repair some small detail, critical to the smooth running of the tool. Repairing the knifing edge on a Dairy Crest bottle mould in 1995 proved to the business how important the integrity of the edge is, when a good clean moulding is required.
